8 NEW FASHION BRANDS AND DESIGNERS TO LOOK OUT FOR IN 2019

Date: Posted on Category: Fashion, Tips/Trends
Style is ever evolving and things continue to look bold and bright as we enter into 2019. Fashion houses that have been around forever are at the top of the chain for a reason due to their constant innovation. However, there continues to be a large influx of emerging designers who are creating just as beautiful pieces and collections. As the year unravels, these new fashion leaders will make their presence known in the world. And some of these new or emerging labels may even end up in your wardrobe. Here are the best rising brands and designers to know in 2019.

Bande Noir

Although they have only released one collection thus far, Bande Noir is causing quite the stir in the fashion community. Mayte Allende, creative director, was an editor and stylist at WWD and W Magazine before creating this line. Bande Noir offers pieces reminiscent of the 80s and 90s with an emphasis on tailoring to compliment the female body. I can’t wait to see what else they come up with!

Rotate

Danish brands have definitely been in the spotlight as of late, and one that I’ve been watching particularly close is Rotate. The bold silhouettes and playful party dresses are nothing like the pieces already sitting in your wardrobe. My favorites are this one and this one.

Rejina Pyo

Rejina Pyo is no new brand, but it’s definitely one to put on your radar. I’ve worn a few pieces from this line before and love how feminine yet simple her collections are – they’re clearly made for the modern woman. Net-A-Porter currently has tons of items I love on sale (here, here, and here).

Amina Muaddi

Amina Muaddi may just be one of my favorite and latest discoveries when it comes to shoes. Her designs are so catchy with embellishments in all the right places. You can tell that the details are so well thought out, making each piece look like so much more than an accessory.

Rowen Rose

Heavily influenced by art, cinema, and poetry, Rowen Rose aims to create beautiful couture pieces that can be worn in everyday life. Emma Raphaëlle Rotenberg was raised in Paris in a French, Spanish, and Polish family and these cultural upbringings are present in her unique clothes.

Feel Studio

Looking for a new place to find “wow” denim? Look no further than Feel Studio, a new label launched by Stevie Dance – a former Off-White consultant. Feel Studio delivers well-crafted, sustainably washed denim made in LA. Their focus is on minimalism and quality pieces that fit like a glove.

Stine Goya

If you love playful designs, then you’ll love this Copenhagen-based brand. I love how Stine Goya incorporates bold colors and retro-inspired designs into their sleek silhouettes, which make it so easy to wear for a statement look. Most of the pieces are conservative enough to be worn at the office too (like this dress) – worth the investment in my opinion.

Jeu Illimité

If you tend to stick to feminine silhouettes and classic styles, Jew Illimité is the new brand to look for in 2019. Simply put, the ready-to-wear collection aesthetic is heavily inspired by the effortlessly chic vibes of a Parisian native. Designer behind the brand, Jessie Andrews, says she created the collection for confident girls who want pieces that can live on in your closet for a longtime. You’ll be happy to know that many of the pieces are within budget!

This just highlights a few of 2019’s emerging designers that you will certainly be hearing more about. Fashion never ceases to amaze me because it continues to grow and evolve each year. Which new designer are you most excited for?
